It is so easy to give up when the going gets tough. There were many times I wanted to throw in the towel; telling myself this is too hard, why bother. Success is never a straight line, there are peaks and valleys. However, push hard and celebrate one step and then another. Persevere and you will achieve success. This May it will be a year since I climbed the Great Wall. It was my fourth time and by far my best experience. There were times on the Wall when I said, “I can’t do this! No one will know how far I went. I have the pictures, that is my proof.” But, I instead of self-limiting talk, I owned my fourth time on the Wall. I ask you to own your imperfections. Strive not for a 10 out of 10. This is your life. OWN IT. LIVE IT. Embrace your flaws. Be happy with a 7, 8 or 9 and when you are okay with this imperfection, there lies FREEDOM.
